This public lecture, presented by the Social Work Innovation Research Living Space (SWIRLS) at Flinders University in South Australia, and the Centre for Social Work Innovation and Research (CSWIR) at the University of Sussex<\/a> in the UK, discussed the registration of social work and what it means for values, principles and identity.<\/p>\n

The Australian and UK context provide a unique opportunity to explore both the opportunities and challenges registration has for the profession, locally and globally \u2013 as Australia embarks on registration, while the UK has experienced registration for two decades.<\/p>\n
