But, the new semester will be here before we know it, and then it&#8217;ll be time to get on top of things again!<\/p>\n<p>Make sure you check out my blog posts on Time Management: <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/yunggorendi-study-skills\/2019\/04\/04\/time-management-1-getting-organised\/\">Getting Organised<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/yunggorendi-study-skills\/2019\/04\/08\/time-management-2-procrastination\/\">Procrastination<\/a> if you need some pointers for getting started. I also want to share some excellent resources I&#8217;ve been looking into to help you get started on the right foot next semester!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Procrastination Resources<\/h1>\n<h3>Health and Wellbeing Blog<\/h3>\n<p>Firstly, if you want to read more about how to overcome procrastination, I recommend checking out Dr Gareth Furber\u2019s <em>Health and Wellbeing Blog<\/em>. Learn a New Strategy for Beating It&#8217;<\/a><em>. <\/em>It&#8217;s similar to the Pomodoro Method, which I wrote about in my <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/yunggorendi-study-skills\/2019\/04\/08\/time-management-2-procrastination\/\">Procrastination post<\/a>, but this one gets you to work in 45 minute chunks, and use mindfulness to help you focus.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Time Management Resources<\/h1>\n<h3>The Learning Scientists<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningscientists.org\/\">The Learning Scientists<\/a> also have some excellent resources about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.learningscientists.org\/blog\/2016\/11\/6\/weekly-digest-34?rq=time%20management\">time management<\/a> and effective study methods and making the best use of your blocked study time, such as Spaced Practice. Spaced Practice is all about getting the best results in your tests and exams by blocking out your study over time, rather than relying on cramming. Well the Ted team also do educational videos, and have heaps of evidence based content about all kinds of study skills.
