A study led by Caring Futures Institute researcher Professor Lily Xiao examined the feedback and experiences of aged care professions to identify they people join, stay or leave the industry. The Adelaide Advertiser: BRAVE Minds. Feature articles on the research of Caring Futures Institute research theme leads Professor Julie Ratcliffe, Professor Sally Robinson and Professor Joanne Arciuli were included in a supplement inside The Advertiser early in December 2020 as part of Flinders’ BRAVE Minds campaign.

The Toorak Times, Yes, older Australians need more home-care funding. But these dribs and drabs only make a dent in the waiting list. Caring Futures Institute research theme lead Professor Julie Ratcliffe wrote an article for The Toorak Times on 18 December 2020 about the need for more aged care funding in Australia. Her story reflected on the Federal Government’s announcement at the time of $850 million for an additional 10,000 home care packages. Read the story here.
