For the 12th year running, the International Learning Collaborative (ILC) is holding its globally renowned annual international conference on 9 and 10 June.
Caring Futures Institute Foundational Director and Knowledge Translation Lead Professor Alison Kitson leads the ILC together with an international Steering Committee.
Previously a face-to-face event held in various locations in the UK, Europe and Canada, in 2021 the ILC team have morphed this to a virtual event, opening attendance to those invested in the Fundamentals of Care from around the world.
Day one of the conference will consist of a series of invited speaker presentations from international nursing leaders who will provide their expertise on leadership for fundamental care in one of four key areas: research, education, policy, and practice.
Day two is interactive, with a series of facilitated co-design workshops. These workshops will help the ILC and its members to develop a leadership program dedicated to enhancing the capacity of current and aspiring nursing leaders. The ILC Leadership Program will focus on providing mechanisms to ensure high-quality person-centred fundamental care within any health system.
