English Language Support for students

Do you have students who need to improve their academic English?  Non-English speaking background students who are struggling to communicate clearly in academic English should be encouraged to participate in the English Language Support Program (ELSP).

The ELSP offers a range of free modules consisting of 7 x 2-hour workshops with no additional workload. The 5 modules cover Pronunciation, Reading Academic Texts, Grammar, Academic Writing, and Listening and Discussion, and offer the opportunity to develop skills and confidence in using academic language in small and friendly classes.

In Semester 2, the modules will be held from Weeks 4-10. Enrolments in the modules will open on CareerHub on 24 July until 14 August. Places fill quickly so encourage students to enrol early.

Please see the Student Learning Centre website for further information.
