Each month we will share some of our timely frequently asked questions around educational technology.

Q: Is there an easy way to combine several groups in FLO into larger groups?
Groups can be combined into larger groups using the Auto-create groups function in FLO where a group can be created from a grouping, and added to a new grouping as part of the process.

Best suited to larger classes, the process requires a new grouping that corresponds with the new combined groups to be created and populated with the groups to be combined into one. The auto-create groups function is then used to create a group based on a grouping. This is run individually creating a single group each time. The first iteration would create a new grouping, with subsequent iterations adding to this newly created grouping.
