Assessment in Higher Education (AHE) Conference 2020 (Manchester UK, 2 July 2020)

Call for contributions open until 20 January 2020.

The theme for the 2020 conference is Assessment for the longer term: Higher education uses assessment to develop and validate graduate attributes. Graduates make critical judgements of their own and others’ work in authentic contexts. The AHE one-day conference in July 2020 in Manchester will focus on research and innovative practice around assessment for the longer term.

The keynote speaker is Professor David Boud of Deakin University, Melbourne. David’s provocative keynote is entitled ‘Assessment for future needs: Emerging directions for assessment change’. The conference invites a range of contribution formats including mini-keynotes, presentations and round tables. All contributions will be focused on research and/or critical evaluations of assessment practice in higher education.
