Welcome to our 2nd Special Issue: Teaching Online

In this issue we are taking a closer look at different ways students can engage and connect with each other online. We also have handy advice on how to be more creative with assessment and learning activities in the online environment, and we explore using Kaltura, Collaborate and Teams with students.

There are plenty of resources available to help you. Epigeum are providing access to some of their online courses for free until the end of May. This includes courses on Teaching Online, University Teaching: Core Skills, Planning and Preparing Learning Activities and Addressing Barriers to Student Success. More details including how to access the courses can be found here.

Remember you also can visit our new webpage Online teaching – tips and support containing resources to review assessments and get online fast. FLO support is available via Service One and academic development support is available by contacting your college support. We also have answers to some of your frequently asked questions here.
