In this online workshop, Karima Ramji and Shabnam (Shay) Ivković will introduce the practitioner aspects of the Cultural Intelligence (CQ) model for developing intercultural competencies. CQ is a globally recognized way of assessing and improving effectiveness in culturally diverse situations. The intent of sharing this model with the larger global WIL practitioner community is to develop knowledge capital on how we, as a community, can advance intercultural effectiveness within our student and employer stakeholders. In the workshop, small working groups will explore tangible activities and best practices that students and employers can engage in toward building cultural intelligence through at-location opportunities, remote opportunities, and in better understanding global problems.
