The Library has launched a new Systematic Literature Searching topic in FLO.
Ideal for any students (honours, masters, PhD) and researchers planning to undertake comprehensive, systematic searches, this resource:
- Introduces students to engaging with literature at an advanced level
- Provides an overview of several types of reviews, including scoping, narrative, and systematic reviews
- Steps through the process of searching systematically for literature: from designing a project and comprehensive searches; to collecting and managing resources; to reporting the search methodology.
The topic’s modular design can be embedded as a whole or scaffolded throughout a semester. Supporting a flipped classroom approach, students can work through the modules at their own pace and can revisit them as many times as they need.
Contact the Library via the ‘Embedding library skills in my topic’ form on Service One to submit a request or to arrange a meeting to discuss how they can best support your students.
