What is considered a “lecture”?

Q. What’s considered a “lecture”?

A. A lecture is any teaching activity defined as such in the Student Management system (formerly called Student Two), from which timetabling requirements are generated. For example:

Only teaching activities that are called “lectures” will automatically be scheduled for recording. If you’re teaching in a space that has lecture recording technology, but your class is called a seminar, tutorial, practical or something else, then the class won’t be scheduled to be recorded. If you want to record those types of classes, you can use the manual recording function, available in the majority of our teaching spaces.
