International Student Arrival Plan Approved for South Australia

ISAP Flinders University

South Australia is the first state to welcome students back to Australia. Flinders University is proud to have been involved in discussions with fellow institutions, Study Adelaide and the State Government to achieve a safe and effective student arrival plan.

As reported in the media, South Australia’s International Student Arrival Plan (ISAP) has been approved by the Federal Government. This announcement is an important first step in efforts to bring our students back for face-to-face learning. Now the work will begin work on logistical matters such as how many students from which institutions can return and what criteria will determine the order of who returns when.

It has been a long and difficult wait for so many, and we thank you for your patience and continued commitment. For most of you, this involves your students undertaking online studies and others who are waiting to return to recommence studies.

From now on, ISAP updates will be sent directly to all Flinders International students through the Office of the Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor  (International), so students must check their student email accounts regularly. We will also continue to work with our network of agents to ensure that you are updated as further progress is made on the ISAP. Hear what our Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor  (International) Sebastian Raneskold has to stay on the matter – here.

Please remember that our International Recruitment team members are available should you have any questions. Students also have the support of our International Student Services team and can directly contact iss@flinders.edu.au. Our free counselling service is available to students at counselling@flinders.edu.au.
