Terry Tao (BSc ’91 BSc Hons ’92 MSc ’93), Professor of Mathematics at UCLA, has been elected to membership of the American Philosophical Society in the Mathematics and Physical Sciences class. The APS is the oldest learned society in the United States founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1743 for the purpose of “promoting knowledge”.
