Established In 1991, to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the University, the Convocation Medal recognizes substantial and outstanding contribution to the local, national and/or international community by graduates of Flinders University.

Nominees must be graduates of Flinders University, and nominations are now open for the 2012 Medal. The selection criteria require evidence to be provided that a nominee has made an outstanding contribution through one or more of leadership in their field or profession, the advancement of knowledge, the advancement of professional practice and/or community service.

Nominations close on 31 July 2012.
