Flinders Investigators 2015: Visionary Research: Demystifying Toxoplasmosis and its effect on vision and in pregnancy

Flinders Investigators is a free monthly public lecture series bringing world-leading research to the wider community.
The inaugural speaker on Wednesday 24 June 2015 Professor Justine R. Smith will provide insight into this little known yet surprisingly common parasite. Usually associated with pregnant women, in reality Toxoplasmosis affects 1 in 5 people and can lead to permanent vision loss.
