Solar cars need your help

Earlier this year the Flinders Automotive Solar Team (FAST) launched a Crowd-Funding campaign and received many generous pledges but fell just shy of their fundraising goal, and therefore did not receive the project funding that they need.

We want you to know that it is not too late to get FAST get on the road!

FAST are counting down to the 2017 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, they have 30 days to finish building their solar car and be ready to inspire future innovators on the possibilities and power of solar.

Their aim is to move solar cars forward as a viable alternative to burning fossil fuel, to succeed the cars need to be lighter, faster and use forward thinking technology.

Our team is up for the challenge and want to hone their skills to be able to help our community and our planet.

Please get behind our budding engineers and donate today.

On Monday September 11 FAST’s solar car the ‘Flinders Investigator Mark III’ will be unveiled at Tonsley, before it embarks on an epic journey to race over 3,000kms from Darwin to Adelaide as part of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. We’d like you to join us for this historic moment and to view the hard work of the Flinders Automotive Solar Team up close. Register here
