Honorary Visiting Scholar at FCIC

Before joining FCIC, Anne-Sophie trained as a surgical registrar in the Department of General and Abdominal Surgery in Münster, Germany. She has taken a one year break from her training in order to get a more profound understanding of the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms of tumour metabolism. She hopes that the translation of this work will be included in the daily surgical routine in the future.

Apart from working at FCIC, in the short time she has been here Anne-Sophie has already sampled many of southern Australia’s top spots; including skydiving on the Fleurieu Peninsula and driving the Great Ocean Road to attend the final of the Australian Open.

Anne-Sophie will be at FCIC until the end of 2018.
