Small grant opportunity for FHMRI Cancer HDR students

Thanks to the May Therese West Bequest, FHMRI Cancer is offering HDR students the opportunity to apply for a $4,000 grant for their research project.

Applications are open to all Flinders University PhD students working on a cancer-related research project.

Applications will be assessed on the scientific merit of the project, including the project aims and significance, and justification of the $4,000 budget (85%) which must be used towards direct research costs of the research project, as well as a brief track record statement (15%).

To apply, please send a two-page (A4) application outlining the following to cancer@flinders.edu.au :

  • Project title, aims, significance and background.
  • Brief research plan and expected outcomes.
  • Budget (Direct Research Costs only)
  • References

 

On a separate page, also include a statement (500 word maximum) of your track record (including stage of candidature, publications, prizes etc)

Use no less than 11 point Arial or 12 point Times New Roman font, 2cm margins all round.

 

Applications are due by 5pm on Friday November 29, 2019.
