Flinders University will soon commence work on a pop-up community plaza, connecting the future Flinders Railway Station with our University community. A safe and active space for train passengers passing through to Flinders, this new space will include food trucks, shady plants and seating for students, staff and anyone to relax and enjoy throughout the day.

Some local activities may be affected during the short construction period, with work on the plaza expected to finish later this year.

Car parking

Car park spaces on the western bitumen edge of car park 12 will be unavailable from when site works commence.  Alternative spaces are available in the northern gravel section of car park 12 or nearby in car park 21.  Signage will be in place to redirect vehicles.

Access changes

Please be aware of pedestrians, construction vehicles and personnel in the area while these works take place and take extra care to note temporary signage directions if driving or walking through.

This project is the first small step in a series of major developments to deliver our long-term vision for Flinders Village.
