Biology building power outage

Brief service outages will occur in the Biology Building Level 3 on Wednesday 30 March. Electricity will be unavailable between 6am and 7am to facilitate work on constructing a PC2 lab. The following rooms will be affected: Room 309, Room 310, Room 310A, Room 311, Room 312, Room 313, Room 314, Room 315 and Room 316.

HMRB cranes going up

The first crane has been erected at the construction site for the Health and Medical Research Building at Bedford Park. A second crane will arrive at the eastern side of the site on 8 April and be installed over the following weekend.

These cranes will be on site for at least the next 12 months. Exclusion zones, for when activity is being undertaken by these cranes, is restricted to within the work site boundary. However, when necessary, traffic and pedestrian management will be in place to ensure the safety of anyone passing by the work site boundary.

Traffic management will also be in place as the second crane is brought onto campus. All possible efforts will be made to restrict impact to campus traffic flow, but we ask that you please slow down and take additional care.
