The many dilemmas facing the higher education sector were explored by Flinders University President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Colin Stirling, speaking with Emeritus Professor Martin Betts for the HEDx podcast series presented by Campus Review.

From navigating the many implications of COVID-19 to recognising a changing federal higher education policy environment, Professor Stirling explained how Flinders is fearlessly pushing forward. The duo also discussed how the current political climate is making it difficult for universities to position themselves for future research and teaching success, the recurring spectre of institutional mergers, and what Flinders is doing to stand out from the congested middle order of universities.
