SA Water works and upgrades to Health Sciences

Campus works continue across Flinders University, with upgrades to the Health Sciences building and SA Water works on University Drive, while refurbishments continue at the Council Room and Anchor Court.

Upgrades in Health Sciences

Works have commenced to upgrade the Level 5 PC2 laboratory (5.38) and autoclave room (5.45) in Health Sciences. These works will continue until May 2022, and please be aware that these rooms will be unavailable during this time. People working in or visiting the building may notice some intermittent noise, vibration, debris or dust.

SA Water works on University Drive this Wednesday morning

Please be aware that SA Water will be undertaking works on Wednesday morning to a sewer main along University Drive, adjacent to the oval at Sturt Campus. Work will commence at 7.30am and is likely to take a few hours. Please take additional care, slow down and follow any signage or directions in place when driving or walking through this area during this time.

Council room refurbishment

The University Council room upgrade on level 2 in Registry building has commenced, and this room will be unavailable until the end of May 2022. Please use alternative spaces during this time. Staff working in Registry building may experience some noise while the refurbishment takes place.

Concrete rectification works in Anchor Court

Concrete rectification works in Anchor Court continue until Thursday 14 April. This essential work is likely to create noise, dust and debris while the contractors cut a box drain into concrete running along the eastern wall of Physical Sciences, behind the coffee caravan. This work has been scheduled during the mid-semester break to minimise impact as much as possible.
