Yoga with purpose at the gym

Flinders University Sport & Fitness is hosting a purposeful yoga experience until Sunday 29 May, with specialised classes to cover a range of mobility issues you might be facing.

Join Pooja on Mondays at 7.30am and Saturdays at 10.20am to find your feet and lengthen your stride. Pooja’s classes will focus on loosening your hamstrings, and will suit anyone from runners to desk-bound workers.

If you’ve got back pain, Rachel is hosting classes on Wednesdays at 12.10pm and Friday at 5.15pm to loosen up and manage your back stiffness to alleviate pain and free up your movement.

Rachel is also hosting classes on Thursdays at 6.30pm and Sundays at 10.20am to guide you on how to use yoga movement and intentional breath work to help manage stress, anxiety and provide a place of stillness.

For those looking to start yoga, or those looking to return after a big break, Kaysee will be hosting a back to basics class on Tuesdays at 1.15pm. Kaysee will ease you in with basic but effective flow and poses.

If you’re after more of a challenge, Kaysee is also hosting an advanced yoga class on Thursdays at 12.10pm. The class will cater for all skill levels, but will include exercises to push those who are looking for more of a challenge.
