Road closures and landscaping across campus

Works around campus this week include landscaping at Anchor Court, staged closures on Physical Sciences Road and traffic management along University Drive.

Anchor Court landscaping

Drainage works to improve the lawn area at Anchor Court commenced this week. The works will involve the installation of drainage and irrigation, plus new lawn and new plantings in the garden beds, to improve the amenity of Anchor Court for everyone to enjoy. The lawn area will be fenced off for the duration of the works.

A few car parks in car park 7 will be unavailable while this work is occurs. It should be completed by mid-December.

Physical Sciences Road works northern end

As part of the new vehicle-to-grid project, the northern part of Physical Sciences Road will have staged closures during the week commencing Monday 14 November. The works are being staged, to minimise delivery disruptions to the Physical and Earth Sciences buildings. No deliveries will be available to the Physical and Earth Sciences loading bay on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 November, and any planned deliveries will need to be rescheduled. Outside of these dates, vehicle access and deliveries should not be impacted.

University Drive traffic management

Traffic management will continue to work progressively south along University Drive. Please continue to take additional care or avoid the area where possible.

Bedford Park campus footpaths

Works are currently being undertaken to improve the footpath surfaces in multiple locations across Bedford Park. Please follow any diversion signage in place and please don’t cross into the work zones.
