Free research methodology training available

Free research methodology online training is available for Flinders University staff through the Centre for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis (CARMA).

The Library recently extended university-wide access to quantitative and qualitative online research methodology training provided by CARMA. With more than 200 high-quality recorded lectures available free of charge for staff and students, CARMA provides training to address various aspects of undertaking research.

The University’s membership to CARMA also allows our researchers to obtain a 50% discount for  short courses delivered online, including seven workshops scheduled in May:

  • Advanced Regression and Interactions
  • Introduction to Structural Equation Methods
  • Grounded Theory Method & Analysis
  • Qualitative Text Analysis using Digital Tools
  • Introduction to Multilevel Analysis
  • Meta Analysis by Dr Mike Cheung
  • Case Study Methodology
