New Open Access policy in place

A new Open Access Policy and new Open Access Procedures have been approved and are in effect for all Flinders University researchers and research outputs.

The new Policy and Procedures are available in the Flinders Policy Library – Recently approved policies.

The key principle of the new policy is that research outputs are required to be made open access, unless there is a justifiable reason for restrictions. Researchers are given agency as to when and how they achieve this, and the procedures support researchers to enact the policy principles.

More information about open access is available here and researchers are encouraged to contact the Flinders Library for enquiries or assistance with open access via Service One.
