Scaffolding in Plaza and planned power outage

Humanities Building – scaffold in Plaza area

On Tuesday 5 September, a scaffold will be erected on the western side of the Humanities building, facing the Plaza. This will not impact the rest of the Plaza area, although the footpath will be closed where the Humanities building meets Lakeside Walk.

Planned power outage Sunday 10 September

There will be a planned power outage on Sunday 10 September from approximately 7am to 3pm impacting the following areas:

  • Sports Pavilion
  • Traffic lights at the intersection of University and Sturt Drives
  • Station Plaza

Speed restrictions and traffic management will be in place. Please slow down and take additional care on University Drive during this time.

Sturt Campus – ATM Removal

One of the ATMs in the common area at Sturt campus will be removed on Thursday 14 September. The NAB ATM in the same location will remain, and operate as usual.

HMRB – traffic management near Sports Road roundabout

Traffic management continues near the Sports Road roundabout and near the entrance to car park 12. As work continues to improve this intersection, please be careful and be aware of changing conditions. Drivers are reminded to please continue to slow down, take additional care and follow all instructions from traffic controllers. Signage will be in place that signal changes to pedestrian paths as work progresses.

Advance Notice: Tonsley high voltage electrical shutdown

On Saturday 23 September, the two-yearly high voltage electrical shut-down will take place at the Tonsley building. Power supply will be interrupted, and to ensure optimal safety, the building will be closed during the shut-down. This electrical shutdown will not apply to items on emergency power circuits, which includes imaging equipment, clean room, walk-in freezer, IDS, or the Pods and Line Zero.
