Wellbeing Yarning Circles at Inparrila

The Flinders community is invited to take part in Yarning Circles on Wednesday 4 October that will focus on Health and Wellbeing centred around Indigenous ways of being, knowing and doing.

The Yarning Circles will foster cultural learning and enable conversations on reconciliation, race relations and the call for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament.

By providing a safe space, the yarning circles will allow for everyone to participate in the discussions without interruption or judgment, in a process that helps to develop deep listening skills, share knowledge and establishing respect in a safe and culturally informed space.

Each session will be co-facilitated by Tod Stokes, Legacy Counselling and Consultancy, and Bianca Stawiarski, Warida Wholistic Wellness.
