Campus Bus Services and Car Park Entries – New Signage
New signage will be erected at bus stops and car park entries around Bedford Park, Sturt and Tonsley on Wednesday 18 October. Exclusion zones will be in place around the works, so please be aware and take care. Some footpaths will be temporarily closed or diverted, if you are unable to traverse the altered path, please phone Security on 8201 2880 and they can assist.
New Flinders Signage – Tonsley
The Flinders Logo Signage Project starts at Tonsley on Wednesday 18 October. The first signs to be replaced with new Flinders branding are the three Tonsley pods, as well as wayfinding signs on the main building. Keep an eye out for exclusion zones around the Pods due to the elevated work platform, and the footpath closure near the Campus Bus Stop.
Building Entry Door Replacement – Health Sciences Building
As part of our plan to improve inclusive access around our campuses, the entry door to Health Sciences building (on Level 3 across the walkway) is being converted to an auto door. This means the door will be closed for use from Tuesday 31 October to Friday 3 November. Alternative building entry will be via Level 1 South and/or North entry.

Lift Replacement – Engineering Building, Bedford Park
Works began this week to replace the lift in the Engineering building taking the lift out of operation until the end of January 2024. It is important to note that there will be no lift access to Level 4 during this time. Mobility access to Level 3 will be via Car Park P15, and to Level 2 will be through the IST Building and walkway.

Temporary Relocation – Campus Bus Stop @Flinders Station
Due to works associated with Sports Drive and the HMRB building, the Campus Bus Stop at Flinders Station has been moved to the other side of the road. Please take care and look for traffic as you cross the road.
Traffic Management – Sports Road
Traffic management is continuing on Sports Road with traffic reduced to one lane past the Health and Medical Research Building for approximately two weeks. Temporary traffic lights will be in place to ensure traffic flows and is appropriately managed during peak times. Pedestrian access will be maintained past the site.
Advance Notice: High Voltage Cable Trenching – Car Park P7
From 27 October to 15 December, a section of car park P7 will be closed while high voltage cable trenches are dug for a new transformer in the Biology Building. Temporary access parks will be made available immediately adjacent. Pedestrian access to Anchor Court will remain open, but please take note of signs and exclusion zones.
Advance Notice: Tree Works – Plaza
On Saturday 28th October, contractors will be working on the plane trees in the Plaza. The works are minor but will generate some noise.
