
With the first semester for 20224 fast approaching, it’s essential to set up gradebooks before the semester begins to avoid causing confusion and distress among students.
Remember that students receive email notifications each time assignment groups are altered in Canvas, which means that tardy changes can lead to unnecessary confusion.
To help staff set up gradebooks correctly, the eLearning team will run Gradebook workshops on February 6, February 15, and March 6. These workshops will provide both academic and professional staff with the necessary skills and tools to prevent confusing students. For those who cannot attend the workshops, a self-paced version is also available online.
Both workshops will take approximately one hour to complete.
