Creating a healthy performance and accountability culture: 21 March – Tracy Maxted, The Missing Think.

How do we shape a culture that delivers on team and University outcomes – and provides a positive and productive place to work? A key role of leaders is to create a culture where staff are excited to come to work, feel valued and highly motivated to make a difference, so unlocking a healthy performance and accountability culture can lead to improved performance and delivery of organisational outcomes. This workshop, delivered by Tracy Maxted from the Missing Think, is designed specifically for those who lead and have responsibility for others.

Have you ever felt like a fraud or pretender, or wondered if you would one day be ‘found out’?  If this sounds like you, you may be experiencing imposter syndrome  People who experience imposter syndrome are often high achievers who can’t quite accept their achievements, and this experience can sometimes create self-limiting beliefs or anxiety. For this engaging and practical online workshop, Dr Gareth Furber, eMental Health project Officer from Health, Counselling and Disability Services, will provide an understanding of imposter syndrome, and how to navigate this experience with confidence.

Wellbeing is explained holistically, with different dimensions: thinking, sensing, feeling and intuiting, and participants will have an opportunity to see how drawing on these in a balanced way helps us tap into our inner resilience and self-leadership.  It will help us make the best response and take the best course of action in stressful situations.
