Improvement projects in CSE buildings and car park 7 ongoing through May

The new ground floor undergraduate science lab redevelopment works are progressing well – as is the roof renewal/stormwater upgrade in and around Physical Sciences and car park 7. If you work in CSE buildings, check out the updates on the CSE Central SharePoint page. Visitors to the area, please note the compound and barriers may change and/or move around Anchor Court, so follow directions on signage and allow extra time to take detours.

Car Parks 2 and 3 EV Charging Bay Maintenance

From 6.30am until noon on Wednesday 5 June, the 15 ‘blue variable rate’ EV chargers spread across car parks 2 and 3 (the bays with green painted signs on the road surface) will be out of action as they undergo planned maintenance. They will not be available for use during this time. Please refrain from charging your EV until the afternoon on June 5, or charge it in car parks 6, 9 or 14 (Sturt). Note that there are time limits for charging an EV (including 2 hours in car park 6). Please refer to the parking webpage for full details.

Advance notice of July electrical maintenance works

Power outages are scheduled on weekends in July for essential electrical maintenance works across South Ridge buildings and the Education building. To minimise disruption to teaching and learning, we are combining maintenance works with the installation of a new transformer for the Biology building in the July mid-semester break.

Who is affected and when?

• All South Ridge buildings – over the weekends of 6-7 July and 13-14 July.

• Education building at North Ridge on 21 July.

Details in coming weeks will explain signage in the area, emails and on college-specific communication channels. View the full electrical maintenance schedule here.
