Preparations for Flinders University Open Days are well underway – but volunteers are needed to welcome thousands of guests to campus on Friday, 9 and Saturday, 10 August at Bedford Park and Sunday 11 August at City Campus.
Open Days represent a critical student recruitment event for the University, and we need your help to give an expected 8,000 prospective student visitors the best and safest experience over three days, as we introduce them to our beautiful campuses and inform them about our courses and our facilities.
Half-day or full-day shifts are available on Friday, Saturday (at Bedford Park) and/or Sunday (at City Campus) for:
- Information Sessions – Venue Coordinators
- Information Desk
- Welcome Area
- Wayfinding Guides
Please note that the roles available are for general event assistance and are not specific college or study area roles.
For full-time and part-time salary staff, please discuss your participation interest with your supervisor and gain their approval to be released from your normal duties during any shift on Friday 9 August. Your supervisor will also need to approve overtime or time-in-lieu for any hours worked on Saturday 10 August or Sunday 11 August.
Casual staff will need approval from their supervisor to be paid by their department for any hours worked.
Register your interest in volunteering by clicking here.
Please fill out the online form by COB Monday, 22 July or email Katherine Reaiche at katherine.reaiche@flinders.edu.au or phone: 8201 3148 for further information.
