Student Hub lift outage 

The lift on the library side of the Student Hub will be offline for for one week during the semester break while routine maintenance works are completed. Works are scheduled to commence on Monday July 8 and continue to Sunday 14 July. Please use the southern lift in the Student Hub adjacent to the food court during this time.  

Lighting upgrades in Car Park 2 

To make the University a more environmentally sustainable and safer place for parking, campus roads and car park lighting are being upgraded. LED lights were replaced in car park 14 last weekend, and car park 2 will be closed on Saturday 29 June between 7am and 4pm for more LED lights to be replaced. 

Sturt lift repairs 

The Sturt North lift will be out of service from Monday 1 July to Friday 5 July, while repair works are conducted on a hydraulic line. Please use alternate lifts or stairs during works.  

Sturt Gym upgrades 

Access to the Sturt Gym and rooms G119, G120 and S101a as upgrade works continue. This includes the demolition of walls to increase room size, new flooring, updated audio-visual teaching aids in Sturt Gym, updated gym equipment and air conditioning, and changed egress through the rear (western) door. These works are expected to be completed in August. 

Improvements to CSE buildings and Car Park 7  

The new ground floor undergraduate science lab redevelopment project is progressing well – as is the roof renewal/stormwater upgrade in and around Physical Sciences and car park 7. If you work in CSE buildings, check out the updates on the CSE Central SharePoint page. Visitors to the area, please note the compound and barriers may change and/or move around Anchor Court, so follow directions on signage and allow extra time to take detours.
