Creating a speak up culture

Flinders staff and students are invited to attend the College of Science and Engineering’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Action Group morning on Psychological Safety – Creating a Speak Up Culture. The event is being organised thanks to 2024 Campus Activation Funding, and aims to ensure that Flinders is a workplace and environment where people can speak freely without fear of humiliation, punishment, or other negative consequences.

In this keynote, leading Australian WHS expert Karen Maher deep dives into “psychological safety”, explaining what it is, and how we can create and instil this important concept within our workplaces. The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion and light refreshments.
