On September 18, ninety researchers and consumer advocates gathered for the first Flinders Brain Health and Neurodegeneration Forum, held in conjunction with Dementia Action Week.

The cross-College event celebrated diverse aspects of dementia research and care, with speakers from Flinders, SAHLN, and consumer advocacy groups. The program featured talks on health economics, memory biology, support for carers, and clinical trials.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the opportunity to connect with colleagues and explore multiple facets of brain research, including lived-experience perspectives.
