Revised policies open for feedback

The Award Course Policy has recently undergone a review and a revised version is now ready for the University community to provide feedback on.

The policy has been updated to bring it into alignment with a proposed new Awards Course Structure Procedure and Teach-out and Student Transition Procedure.

The Awards Course Structure Procedure supports course design and promotes modular structures where possible. This ensures a common first year experience for students and further provides greater opportunity, flexibility and ease of choice for students from their second year through the self-selection of available specialisations, majors and minor components.

The addition of a Teach-out and Student Transition Procedure has been proposed to clarify how the University proposes to manage courses proposed for discontinuation.

The updated policy and proposed new procedures can be accessed via the Draft Policy Library for feedback.
