It’s that time of year again – Flinders is set to come alive next week, as we prepare to kick off our Orientation Program for 2025.
Beginning with O’Week from Monday 24 February, our campuses will come alive with exciting activation days across Bedford Park and City Campus throughout the week.
Welcome Hubs will also be running at Tonsley and Flinders Medical Centre on Tuesday 25 February, and at Sturt on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 February, to welcome our commencing students.
The program for 2025 has some exciting new additions, including:
- Quiet tours, offering smaller group campus tours for neurodiverse students prior to Orientation week.
- Fearless tours, where you can jump on a buggy ride around the lake and see the beautiful Bedford Park campus
- Self-guided campus tours, using the self-guided map to help navigate the Bedford Park and Sturt campuses
- College colours – each College has a Flinders colour to help with navigation, and this is reflected on signage, staff lanyard and lanyard cards, and the Self-Guided map.
- Supporters session at Bedford Park and City Campus, providing an opportunity for parents, partners, caregivers and friends to understand the expectations of studying at University and the support services available for students
It’s a fantastic opportunity for staff to engage with new students and help set the stage for a successful academic year.
