
We are excited to announce the launch of the new Staff Learning Portal next week!
The new portal is a huge step up in our digital learning environment for staff, and makes sure we are in compliance with new legislative requirements – it will also improve the overall learning experience for staff!
Initially, the new portal will be available to continuing and fixed-term staff, with opportunities to explore further growth and expansion in the future.
Staff will have access to a select number of required training courses such as Code of Conduct, Online Induction, Responding to Disclosures of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment, and Risk Management in the new portal. Additionally, the Professional Development calendar will be available in the new portal, offering over 50 engaging topics and learning opportunities. Please note other training courses that are also required for casual staff members and students will continue to be available in systems such as iEnrol, Inspire, and Canvas. Over time we will look to expand our online training offerings within the new portal to give staff a range of development options to build capability.
Some exciting features of the new portal include visibility on training requirements, approvals, and completion reports for supervisors, while facilitating required training, course applications, and viewing training history for staff. More detailed information on the functionality and use of the portal for both supervisors and staff will be available next week.
The new portal will be launched next week and can be accessed through your Okta Dashboard. Additional communications and optional learning sessions for supervisors and staff will be available from next week. A comprehensive suite of training materials will also be available, and dedicated support processes can be accessed via Service One.
