Career Festival is back

Potential employers will descend on Flinders’ campuses this week as the annual Career Festival takes off for 2025, showcasing the different student and graduate programs available.

  • Wednesday 26 March – Business & Corporate Services | Bedford Park Hub
  • Thursday 27 March – STEM | Tonsley under the MAB

Students from all year levels are welcome – whether they are a final-year student seeking information about graduate programs, or a first/second-year student seeking an internship or ‘work while you study’ opportunities.

Students can:

  • Check in at the Careers booth to learn about workshops and resources on offer to support career development.
  • Book in for a 10-minute resume review.
  • Get a free professional headshot taken.
  • Participate in an employer stamp card competition to reward student employer connections to win a range of prizes.
  • Free food, fun, and festival vibes!

Quiet hour

This year we have introduced a ‘Quiet Hour’ between 10am – 11am. Quiet Hour is a dedicated low-sensory experience designed to help students engage with employers in a calm and supportive environment.

By minimising noise, and other stimulating factors, this session creates a more comfortable space for meaningful conversations. Whether you prefer a quieter setting or simply want to explore career opportunities without the usual hustle and bustle, Quiet Hour provides a stress-reduced atmosphere where you can connect with employers at your own pace. Bookings are essential. Click here, and head to the Events & Workshops banner to reserve your spot.

All staff are encouraged to come along, chat with employers and encourage students to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity made possible by SSAF Funding for Employer Engagement.

Bookings essential. Staff and students can access CareerHub via OKTA to book in or email careers@flinders.edu.au.
