On Tuesday 13 May the Flinders Intelligence Portal (FLIP) is being updated to provide a better user experience.

Permissions and functionality will remain the same, with subtle changes to the look and feel. Menu items will be simplified, and reports will open in separate windows enabling easier navigation.

What does this mean for you? 

The transition will involve a FLIP outage from 5pm on Monday 12 May to 10am on Tuesday 13 May 2025.

There will be no changes to user permissions and access to reports, and users can continue to log in via Okta​ as usual.

FLIP will also have a new web address (URL), which means you may need to update any bookmarks and saved links to the site. This URL will go live at 10am on Tuesday 13 May as soon as the change is complete. The new web address is: https://flinders.sharepoint.com/sites/flip

If you accidentally log in to the old FLIP address via a saved link, you will see a message reminding you to go to the new site. This reminder will be in place until 30 June, when the old site will be decommissioned.
