Join in the acknowledgement of IDAHOBIT

Join the Flinders Pride Committee and Queer Collective as we come together to recognise IDAHOBIT – the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia. This annual day of recognition raises awareness of the violence and discrimination faced by members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

This year’s theme, the power of communities, encourages us all to reflect on the importance of connection, visibility, and support, while standing together against discrimination. Learn more about IDAHOBIT here.

  • Location: IDAHOBIT tree (base of the Anchor Court stairs)
  • Date; 15 May 2025
  • Time: 11am

Weather permitting, we will gather around the tree to hear from our speakers as they acknowledge the power of the community at Flinders and how you can contribute to our community.

Bring a coffee or tea and take a moment to listen to our speakers, and connect with others. Be part of the action and show your support by being part of group photo. Go rainbow and show your pride!
