Reflecting on 50 years of NAIDOC
The Library invites staff and students to visit our 50 Years of NAIDOC display at the Central Library—a tribute to five decades of resilience, strength, and cultural pride. As we mark this significant milestone, we reflect on the enduring spirit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and look ahead to a future built on respect and shared understanding.
We hope you’ll take a moment to explore the display on Level 1 of the Central Library, and join us in celebrating the stories, achievements, and continuing legacy of NAIDOC.
Library artwork showcased at Festival Tower
In honour of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, this NAIDOC Week we proudly partner with Festival Tower to celebrate Kaurna, Narungga and Ngarrindjeri artist, graphic designer and Flinders alumni Lawson Dodd.
We’re thrilled to announce that Lawson’s artwork will be unveiled in the main foyer of Festival Tower from Monday 7 to Friday 11 July during business hours. We kindly invite you to pause and experience his captivating creation as it comes to life in this dynamic space.
