From the Vice-Chancellor: Open Days that stood out – thanks to you!

What an amazing few days we have had across our Bedford Park and City Campuses for our ‘Not Your Everyday’ Open Days. Amidst Adelaide’s best wild and woolly winter weather, Flinders put on a world-class show for prospective students and their families, opening our Bedford Park and City Campuses to thousands of people across an action-packed weekend to remember.

From shark dissection to crime scene investigation, Flinders’ expertise, facilities and a breadth of learning opportunities were on full display. I was delighted to get amongst the action and see our campuses come to life to show the world where studying at Flinders can take you.

We all know that these events don’t come together by themselves – it is an epic effort to deliver a creative vision that tells a story to our community. A big thank you to our Marketing and Student Recruitment team, who went above and beyond to showcase the spirit of Flinders in a modern and engaging way. Thanks also go to the many student and staff volunteers from right across the University who gave up their time to talk to future students about the amazing experiences you can have at Flinders.

That’s not all, though – there is still more Open Day fun to come at our Riverland campus on 5 August, and at Tonsley on 9 August, along with our Connect Week activities.

Thanks again to all involved – I couldn’t be prouder of the story that Flinders is sharing with the world.
