Works around our campuses to update defibrillators, repair ceilings and replace ACP panels.
Defibrillator updates
Starting on Thursday 7 August and continuing to mid-September, 42 defibrillators will be updated in buildings across North and South Ridge of Bedford Park, Flinders at Tonsley, Sturt, MOB, the Sports Pavillion and the Health and Medical Research Building.
This will improve workplace health and safety and emergency preparedness. Work will occur in stages and disruption will be minimal.
Ceiling repair works
Ceiling replacement/repair works are now underway on levels in the Biological Sciences building. Work will progress to levels 1 and 2 in the Humanities building and level 1 in the Registry annex over the coming months.
Works will include restricting access to rooms and spaces, noise and dust. If you work or study in these buildings, please follow directions on signs.
Replacing Tonsley façade panels
Works to replace the Aluminium Composite Panels (ACP) on the southern façade of the Flinders at Tonsley building (beneath the canopy) are due to be finalised this week. Pedestrian diversions are in place, with access to the building maintained.
