Sturt South lift access to levels reopens to levels 1 to 3 only and refurbishment of the OT Clinical Skills facilities at Sturt, and upgrade of Social Sciences North courtyard footpath and stairs are ongoing.

 

Lift access update in Sturt buildings

Lift access to levels 1 to 3 via the Sturt South lift (in the Sturt South building) has now reopened. Access to level 4 via lifts remains closed, with further repairs planned in mid to late October.

Meanwhile, the works to replace the Sturt North lift are ongoing until 17 December.

If you’re working or studying at Sturt, please use the lift in Sturt South or stairs to access upper levels of the buildings and contact Security on 8201 2880 for access assistance if needed.

 

Occupational Therapy Clinical Skills space upgrade at Sturt

Works are underway to refurbish the Occupational Therapy Clinical Skills facilities at Sturt. The following areas are unavailable during works:

• Sturt West room 401 and 401A

• Sturt West meeting room 401B

• Sturt South room 115 (unavailable until 17 October.)

Please take note of any signage displayed around the work areas. Works are expected to be completed by 14 November 2025.

 

Social Sciences North courtyard footpath and stair upgrades 

Work is ongoing to repair and improve safety on the retaining wall and external brick stairs on both the southern and northern sides of the Social Science North courtyard.

There will be some noise and access impacts with works expected to continue until approximately 31 October.
