Academic Senate recently approved the Flinders University Student Code of Conduct.
The Code outlines the expectations, values, and standards for students that help us maintain a respectful and safe environment for all members of the University community. The Code was developed with feedback from students and staff and mirrors the Staff Code of Conduct.
The Student Code of Conduct covers:
- Respectful behaviour and communication
- Appropriate use of University spaces, digital systems, and resources
- A commitment to a safe and inclusive community
- Honest and ethical scholarship.
A web page has been developed to assist staff members managing breaches of the Code.
The Student Code of Conduct student web page has further details about the Code for students including support services for students experiencing breaches and details on how to report breaches.
If you have any questions about the Code, please don’t hesitate to contact the Student Policy and Integrity Services team at studentpolicy@flinders.edu.au
