Top 50 QS World Rankings for two popular programs

Flinders has ranked in the 2026 QS World Rankings Top 50 for Nursing and Archaeology, with high scores across all assessment categories.

This outstanding result reflects our continued commitment to teaching and research excellence.

When compiling the rankings QS World Rankings looks at an institution’s research quality, volume and its reputation in the academic community, and it is with great pride that we have scored so highly across these measures.

Another important consideration is employability, which is a key QS World Rankings indicator. Employers are interviewed to assess a university’s reputation for producing employment-ready graduates. For employability, we are pleased to say that Flinders scored highly across both Nursing and Archaeology.

Our close partnerships with industry and the health sector are a valuable part of delivering meaningful impact, and the delivery of the Flinders HealthCARE Centre will continue to strengthen our role in the community. Our high employability score for Archaeology illustrates a global recognition of the quality of our Archaeology graduates.

In the year that we have launched Agenda 2035, these rankings successes are a great reminder that we are already delivering Impact. With Purpose.
