Applications are now open for the 2027 John Monash Scholarships, offering $100,000 a year for up to three years, to support postgraduate studies at some of the world’s best universities.
Dr Jenny Tran, who completed her Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Doctor of Medicine at Flinders in 2023, was one of 18 exceptional Australians awarded a John Monash Scholarship for 2026.
Taking a break from her role as Resident Medical Officer in Darwin, she is studying a Master of Science in Translational Health Sciences at the University of Oxford to further support improving access to medical care. Dr Tran’s specific focus is fighting preventable eye disease in disadvantaged and under-served communities.
