Flinders Impact Awards – deadline extended

Since the launch of the inaugural Flinders Impact Awards, we have seen many nominations highlighting the incredible contributions of our people. To provide additional time for staff to recognise deserving colleagues and teams, we have extended the nomination deadline to Friday 28 August.

The awards celebrate the people and teams whose achievements are helping drive Flinders towards its Agenda 2035 vision. Whether through inspiring students, advancing research, strengthening partnerships, improving services or supporting colleagues, impactful contributions happen across every part of our University.

Recognition is an important way of acknowledging excellence and celebrating the values that define Flinders — collaboration, innovation and commitment to making a positive difference.

If you know an individual or team whose work has had a significant impact during the past year, we encourage you to take the time to nominate them for an award.

You could nominate someone who:

  • Inspired their students to achieve more.
  • Built a stronger partnership.
  • Improved how we work.
  • Made an important research contribution.
  • Mentored their colleagues.
  • Helped a team succeed.

Nominating a colleague or team is a simple but meaningful way to acknowledge their efforts, celebrate excellence and strengthen the culture of appreciation that helps make Flinders a great place to work.

From exceptional teaching and research to the professional services that enable our success, every contribution plays a role in creating meaningful impact for our students, communities and partners.

You can access the nomination form here. Further information about award categories and nomination guidelines is available here.
